Southside Hoodlum - Knife Talk/Cannon Freestyle (Video)

Described as a leaked freestyle, a new visual from Southside Hoodlum appeared on the timeline at the top of the week. It showcased your drug dealer’s favorite rapper freestyling over Drake’s “Knife Talk” & Wayne’s “Cannon” instrumental in which he drowns his syrup potent rhymes in the double cup for people to sip through for the week.

Viewed with the found-footage technique by Outer Space Production who's behind the lens, Southside Hoodlum is seen in multiple shots. Mainly ones where he’s showing off the diamonds in his chain and the ones in his grill with the beam, pointed at the camera to blind out the opps staring from afar. Other viewings show him performing & posted in the green room with Jbodyguard by his side as always smoking down the zaza wrapped in his blunt. It’s expected to hear Hoodlum body the track with ease, especially since the flow is kept the same with beats that we wouldn’t expect to hear him over. Still, it works in his favor to see him divulge into something outside of his element that showcases his versatility.

The video release came unexpectedly, but he mentioned in the description on youtube that we can expect to see more of these freestyle in the upcoming weeks until his next album drops. It’s expected to come forth with a heavy set of Big Tex Johnny beats as always, but I’m guessing we’re going to see some at a mighty altitude that we haven’t seen before so expect a significant impact coming real soon. In the meantime, continue running up the views on this latest drop and be on the lookout for another one coming next week.
