Joose feat Andre Troutman - Never Own Me (Single)

Coming across TDE producer The Ichiban Don's Instagram page, I saw him talking about Lynwood native Joose, a Hispanic emcee that's been steadily working with the prominent producer. He recently dropped a new single titled "Never Own Me" on his birthday which helped pave a proper introduction for us to be familiar with his music.

The record is a California special laced with a laid-back flow and production that is climbing up the vibes so smooth that you just want to relax by the pool while enduring the heat coming from the sunny skies. Pure potency when he rhymes about keeping it real and not letting the fake reside with him. He's on the come up to bigger & better things since most of his peers around him either live behind bars or six feet deep. He's seen another side of fame and knows by staying true to himself; he can become a figure in switching up the way you see success without selling your soul. No matter the grind, he’s willing to put the hard work even if he has to lyrically slaughter your favorite rapper out of existence to see his potential glow in front of you. The feature from Andre Troutman croons a beautiful chorus that matches well with the emotions dug throughout the track. The feeling is remarkable, and you can't get enough of the vibrancy from both Joose & Andre to make this single flourish like it is already. The visual also does an amazing job of showcasing the lifestyle of Joose heritage, posted around the custom lowriders while reflecting his own being to the world in a setting that's home for him where you admire the making of icon in the works.

Ichiban hasn't lost his touch in recommending talent emcees to the masses; Joose will be someone well pay close attention to moving forward. We hope others follow suit as well, so be sure to get familiar with his content here by checking it out and sharing it around on all social media avenues.
