Tvlormvde - Smile For My Friends & Cry Later (EP)

After making an impact with his August project “Supah,” Tvlormvde is back with another EP titled “Smile For My Friends & Cry Later,” where this project is laced with a little more bravado and crooning than the last but is more versatile of his distinctive style that’s being put on display in these nine records.

You can tell a lot by an intro track, and “713” explains the one-sided discussion he’s contemplating when speaking about an extraordinary woman. She’s overthinking the online aspect instead of the real-life experience she wants with Tvlor, but he’s focused more on dealing with the switch up that many around him are on since he's come up has flourished more than theirs. He still wants intimate moments with her but needs to know if she wants it as much. The project pushes forward with many upbeat jams and some that surprised me off the rip. The infectious groove of “Sky” set you right above the clouds sitting nicely among the stars while you and your companion sit close to witness the end of the world, which is a love story all on its own. I wouldn’t feel like I did this review justice without mentioning “90210”, the somber realism of leaving past mistakes to head to a better life. You can dwell on the loss all you want, but these drugs are enough to numb me through the pain, and this is exactly what the track feels like. Tvlormvde didn’t do a project about the trials and tribulations of love but made a love story in different parts for you to interpret with your own situation. He creates a series of stories for you to put yourself in, making this EP a personable release that many should sit in and listen to from start to finish.

Tvlormvde isn’t one to shy away from releasing a visual to a single off his project, and he hasn’t dropped one yet, but I got a feeling he’s going to before the end of the year is up. I would stay tuned in to his social media for announcements, and while you do they be sure to check out the project here while sharing it around on all social media avenues.
