Leev - Leave Me, Not (EP)
LeeV is an interesting case study; his style is so left field, he's been forming crop circles around various right fields with the singles he's released since debuting last year. The rhymes are so abstract; it's almost boggling how he even comes up with them. As avant-garde, as they come, he's showing no signs of slowing up with this back-to-back release, "Leave Me, Not," released a day before Valentine's but can still be played no matter the day.
It’s 3 minutes & 3 seconds, LeeV goes from being "Together" to then being "Heartsick," almost a "be careful what you wish for" type situation he has going cause the title of the pack indicates that maybe he did want her to leave him. Possibly cause he aware of his toxic tendencies or whatever & no longer wishes to be a burden or whatever the case may be. Yet, clearly, by the end of the 2nd track, he realizes he's made a terrible mistake by blocking her from his heart.
The mind can be our worst enemy & he's fighting it on these two tracks. However, in the end, it, unfortunately, seems to overpower him; too many of the wrong things are harbored in his heart, thus the cover art & it's going to take a lot more to dissolve those horns growing out of his broken heart. However, it's not completely broken yet. He may still have some time left to anneal it; let's just hope he does & puts that time into something other than these games that not even he has time for.
