Southside Hoodlum - Bury My Pint (Video)

Southside Hoodlum kicks off the year with momentum, delivering a two-for-one visual directed by Ace The Shooter and backed by production from Big Tex Johnny and Vaccid. The release showcases two contrasting records that highlight Hoodlum’s range while staying rooted in his signature sound.

The first track, “Bury My Pint,” finds Hoodlum in a tranquil, laid-back pocket, letting his vocals spill effortlessly over the production. It’s smooth, reflective, and controlled; showing his ability to float without forcing the moment. The second record is one fans may recognize, as he previewed it back in October. Built around a Ginuwine “Differences” sample, the track leans into a more raw, street-driven energy while still maintaining a polished delivery.

Together, both records do an excellent job of dividing Hoodlum’s flows; balancing calm introspection with gritty realism. It’s a reminder of why his voice carries so much weight regardless of tempo or mood.

Having teased unreleased music consistently over the past few months, this drop feels less like a standalone moment and more like a signal. With this visual setting the pace for the year, it’s safe to say Southside Hoodlum’s project may be right around the corner. If this is any indication, hopefully more visuals are on the way to hold us over until that project finally lands.
