Dreamiecloud has always been an artist who knows how to hone in on her craft and let her emotions fly freely through her music. There’s always been a certain authenticity in the way she approaches her artistry, but with her latest work, we’re beginning to see her step into a completely different lane.

With “Gris,” Dreamiecloud embraces an all-Spanish direction that gives her sound a fresh awakening. Rather than simply switching up the language, she uses it as another layer of her artistry, creating an atmosphere that feels vibrant & intimate. It’s a different approach, but one that feels natural, especially as she experiments with this new sound.

Dreamiecloud takes the aura we’ve become familiar with and reshapes it into something almost indistinguishable from her previous work. She’s opening the door to a new world, allowing the production, language, melodies, and her own emotions to work together in a way that gives “Gris” its own identity.

One of the standout moments is the fan-favorite “Mala Gatita,” produced by pnkblnkt. The record feels like the perfect showcase of what Dreamiecloud can do when the production and her euphoric energy lock into place. Pnkblnkt provides a backdrop that gives Dreamiecloud plenty of room to maneuver, while her wordplay slides comfortably into the rhythm.

The chemistry between the production and Dreamiecloud’s delivery makes “Gris” easy to gravitate toward.
