Hippie Sabotage psychedelic trip in San Antonio

Before the rain hit the weekend in San Antonio, the weather was clear and breezy, and Hippie Sabotage hit the stage at the Aztec Theatre to bring some psychedelic sounds to the countdown city for an incredible night. From the moment the doors opened, there was an undeniable energy in the room; one that only continued to build as Chicago native Kembe X took the stage. Opener for the Give & Take Tour & collaborator of the duo, Kembe X, had the crowd in the palm of his hands performing tracks off his projects “it’s not that deep” & “Sleep Paralysis.” Each track translated seamlessly in a live setting, blending introspective lyricism with high-energy delivery that resonated deeply with the audience.

By the time Hippie Sabotage emerged, the crowd was fully locked in. The duo, Kevin & Jeff Saurer, known for their psychedelic, bass-heavy production and emotionally charged performances transformed the Aztec Theatre into a sonic escape. Waves of synths and hypnotic visuals filled the venue, creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and electrifying. Fans swayed, jumped, and sang along, completely immersed in the experience.

The Give & Take Tour stop in San Antonio proved to be a night where sound, energy, and environment aligned perfectly before the storm rolled in. From Kembe X setting the tone to Hippie Sabotage delivering a captivating headlining set, the night became memorable.

Even as the rain followed later that weekend, the impact of this night lingered, echoing through the city long after the final note faded.
