Lil Genny - Sloppy (Single)

Lil Genny was plenty consistent last year in terms of single releases. He dropped 12 total singles, so I have a feeling he’s going to drop another dozen on them this year. “Sloppy” is being his first drop to kick that off & despite the song title, he ain’t saying he’s sloppy, rather you all are. You are all talk, but he’s all walk, as exemplified on the cover art, you’ll be the one bum-rushing other people to pick up the chump change he’s leaving behind with your broke ass.

The production is just rattling any & all subwoofers, melting the properties of your sound systems till it’s nothing but a puddle of melted mess, messier than sloppy toppy. The way he fluctuates his voice shows his vocal versatility; he goes from monotone machismo to ferocious falsetto to rapid-fire spitting in only a little over 2 minutes. Even though all this makes him able to pull your bitch with ease, he’s headed off on the Lear cause he has money to get to; he doesn’t have time for all that love shit. He’s committed to the money, but he’ll make some time to hit it, then quit it, then off to the next.

Too many people are on that ho shit, but not he. He’s forever on his grind, something a lot of people should take notes on; he’s not going to waste his time being laid up with your boo, she’s yours, you can have her, but she, along with you, can’t have any of which he’s worked so hard to attain. He’ll be long gone before you even think of touching any of it; it was a privilege for her to be around him, but she was only good for the night, maybe teach her not to be “Sloppy” next time.
