Taylor Nicole - Vibe (Single)
Almost immediately, you can feel the giddy innocence of Taylor Nicole’s second single, just the coy little giggles coupled with the playful production lets the listener know they are in for a real treat & trust me, it blows her first single, which is still great too by the way “In 2 U”, out the water! I find nothing more cuter than a woman falling head over heels for a guy, that’s how you know he’s actually made a lasting impression on her, to the point she wants to sing about how his presence hits her right in the feelies. At a time where we don’t really get women feeling safe enough to step into their femininity, this is a very refreshing listen. Though short & sweet, which only leaves you craving for more, it’s still a concise little confectionery that melts in the listener’s mouth like a Hershey’s Kiss. In other words, it’s some damn good ear candy!
I find that some of the best songs tend to be short in their runtime but also very simple & pun intended since we talking candy, I’m always gonna be a sucker for it. I completely understand consumers who prefer a “Vibe” over something with more depth & there’s nothing wrong with that, so as long as the vibe is right! Clearly it is with her since she’s eager to come back to him for more! Overall, it’s just a really playful record that takes me back to the puppy love days, you know, when relationships weren’t as complicated. It also has the perfect summertime vibe to it as well so I better see this on your playlists for the occasions!
Two singles in so far & what I can say is that, Taylor Nicole sounds like she’s having a lot of fun just creating & I hope that as she continues along her journey & flexing her versatility (I hear her next single is a far cry from this), that she never loses that fun aspect & also never allows anyone to box her in to just one style. Whatever the future may hold for her as an artist, I just want her to continue making the music that she wants to create. You have my undivided attention girlie so please keep delivering!
