Naalah - I’ll Be Okay featuring Big Fooley/ MOODY (Single)

Naalah has been basking in her glow and embracing her growth, recently hinting that new music is in the works, with some of it expected soon. Like many others, we were expecting a new single, but instead she blessed us with two new tracks, giving listeners more insight into where she is creatively and emotionally.

The first release, “I’ll Be Okay” featuring Big Fooley, finds Naalah navigating the aftermath of heartbreak while staying focused on what’s ahead. Rather than letting those emotions consume her, she finds comfort in her art, using creativity as a distraction and a way to keep moving forward. She reassures herself that this is the plan destined to start her rise. Sometimes the best motivation comes from those very emotions we are trying to move past.

I especially love Big Fooley’s contribution to the record. His feature croons naturally with Naalah’s angelic energy, adding another layer to the song without taking away from its message. It’s a great combination that helps bring the record together.

Her second release, “MOODY,” takes us in a different direction. The track carries a very Pharcyde-coded sound, bringing a nostalgic hip-hop feel that immediately stands out. Naalah’s emotional energy is much more elevated here, tapping into those moments when feelings begin to take over and push you outside of your usual character. The record’s unpredictability makes it enjoyable, showing another side of her personality and musical expression.

With these two releases, Naalah gives us different perspectives of the emotions that come with growth. From finding peace after loss to embracing the moods and moments that come with being human, she lets her music speak for itself.

Two tracks, two different energies, but one thing remains consistent: Naalah continues to find ways to turn her experiences into art that far exceeds anything out there right now. The time away doesn’t slow her stride; it's uplifting to see her back in the spotlight, where she roams beautifully.
