Jacks Haupt - 2014 (kilo) (Single)

For a while now, Jacks Haupt had been teasing that new music was in the works, with some of it to be released soon, and as of February 17th, we got our first listen into her next direction in a ballad titled “2014 (kilo)”. Right out the gate, I got Clams Casino vibes from the production, and when you add Jack's angelic vocals, you've got a record that will take over your days and nights with natural euphoria.

She’s always been that artist to take any sound and warp it into her own bliss, and she’s showing you firsthand that when her voice hits the production, it’s instantly recognizable. The dreamscape factor is there as always, ready to take you into her world and make you never want to leave. I understand waiting for music like this because the impact it’s making on her audience has been immersive, where you only want more, and the appetite is there for it. The record has a lot of replay value, and that’s always a given with her music, but this one is definitely special, and I hope it gives us a look into what the future holds for more music.

Now I know Jacks Haupt will be working on music solo and with her new band, Fatal Frame, whose debut EP will have its own review at a later time on the site. Expect Jacks Haupt to be busy in 2026 with music, and I’m sure performance will follow suit as well. It’s always a highlight in our day to see her continue to shine with her music, and we wish nothing but the best.
